Worship begins with God, for it is God who calls us into being as a community of faith and it is God who gathers us together for worship. Worship is central to New Hope Presbyterian. All that we are and all that we do is rooted in the time we spend together in worship. We come together as a worshiping community to celebrate our Risen Lord. In praise, in prayer, in scriptures read and proclaimed, in the sharing of Holy Communion, worship moves us from hearing the Word of God to our rising to do it.

Christian worship joyfully ascribes all praise and honor, glory and power to the triune God. In worship the people of God acknowledge God present in the world and in their lives. As they respond to God’s claim and redemptive action in Jesus Christ, believers are transformed and renewed. In worship the faithful offer themselves to God and are equipped for God’s service in the world.

We celebrate one worship service each Sunday morning at 10:30 am. Music for the service is led by our Choir with special music as appropriate. Our worship services provide a meaningful, uplifting and inspiring experience for worshipers, honoring God, proclaiming our love for each other and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Children are always welcome in worship. Age appropriate materials are available for children to use during the service.

There is a special Conversation With Young Disciples during the service to involve and nurture the children. Children in the first grade and younger who are not yet comfortable sitting through an adult church service may leave following the Conversation With Young Disciples for a Little Angels’ club activity. Nursery care is available in the Nursery as well.

We invite you to worship with us and experience God’s welcoming presence amid the warmth of New Hope’s Christian fellowship.
