The goals of the New Hope Child Development Center are to provide a safe, nurturing, learning environment for the children in our care (ages 18 months to 5 years), and to proclaim God’s love in our actions and teachings. We strive to provide a place where children can grow spiritually while they develop basic learning skills, motor coordination, and greater self esteem.
The New Hope Child Development Center is accredited by the National Accreditation Commission (NAC), and the staff and curricula/programs are reviewed every three years. The wonderful teaching staff are well qualified, dedicated to early childhood education, and actively involved in continuing education. They have prepared a happy and relaxed atmosphere and an environment that stimulates and promotes all areas of developmental growth.
The curriculum is designed to meet the social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive, physical, intellectual, and language developmental needs of each child. The teachers design their class activities according to the developmental ages and interests of the children – music, science, reading readiness, math, creative arts, etc. We believe that children learn best through active play in settings that are designed to facilitate learning, and teaching unit themes revolve around topics that are important in a child’s world. Curriculum details are available for download – see link listed below.
